Conjunction:

Definition: This is the linking of two sub-statements with the relation “and”. In the Set notation below, the intersection P ∩ Q represents the conjunction of P and Q. Symbolic logic uses the symbol ʌ. Thus, P ʌ Q is the conjunction of P and Q. A conjunction is true only if both of the statements are true.
