What is Gravitational Force?

Gravitational force is a force with which the earth attracts objects towards its centre. It is the product of mass and acceleration due to gravity (g).

G.F = mg

  • Where m is the mass of the object
  • g is the acceleration due to gravity
  • G.F or F is the gravitational force

The S.I unit of Force is Newton (N)
