(i) 11012 × 1012
Solution
The following rules apply when multiplying binary numbers:
- 0 × 0 = 0
- 1 × 0 = 0
- 0 × 1 = 0
- 1 × 1 = 1
Answer = 10000012
(ii) 111.012 × 1.112
