Pricing and advertising are necessary for the marketing and selling of farm produce. Pricing is a process whereby a business sets the price, at which it will sell its products and services. 

In our local markets, the selling price is often a negotiation between the seller and the buyer. In our local markets, there is no fixed price for agricultural produce, while in the supermarket there is always a fixed price tag, attached to each agricultural produce or product. 

Advertisement creates awareness of produce or product to the buyers. Through Advertisement, buyers become aware, of where they can get a product and at what price. The advertising media of farm products include; radio, newspapers, television, internet, handbills, billboards, and agricultural shows.
