The Job opportunities available for students with a knowledge of Chemistry include:

Teaching Service:

Teaching jobs like chemistry teacher in secondary schools, lecturer in universities, polytechnic or colleges of Education, and Laboratory assistant in schools and universities are available to chemistry students.

Industrial Sector:

Chemists and Laboratory technologists are needed in all good manufacturing industries e.g. chemicals, mining, petroleum, cement factories, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, textiles, glass, paint, soap, and detergents.
