General Measures for Preventing Accidents

1. All sharp objects should be removed and kept away from the reach of young children. 

2. Insulating or protective materials should be used when handling hot objects. 

3. Children should be protected against the misuse of fire. 

4. Rooms and stairs should be well-lighted. 

5. The kitchen door should be closed/locked because of children. 

6. Drivers should not drive under the influence of alcohol. 

7. All bad roads should be repaired quickly by the government. 

8. Traffic rules should be enforced and offenders punished. 

9. Drivers should undergo training and pass driving tests. 

10. Safety Education of workers at the workplace is very important.
