Locomotor Movement:
Locomotor movement is movement from one place to another.

Examples are:
1. Walking.
2. Running.
3. Skipping.
4. Hopping.
5. Galloping.
6. Sliding.
7. Leaping.
8. Jumping etc.
Non-locomotor Movement:
Non-locomotor movement is the movement of certain parts of the body or the whole body at a point without the body moving from its original position. In a nutshell, it is the movement of the body or any part of the body at a spot or point without leaving the designated position.

Examples are:
1. Bending.
2. Twisting.
3. Pushing.
4. Pulling.
5. Stretching.
6. Turning.
7. Lifting.
8. Striking.
9. Shaking.
10. Beating
Manipulative Movement:
Manipulative movement is moving or using an object with the hands or feet to achieve a goal or complete a task. It entails what your hands or legs can do. It involves part of the body and an object like a pencil, toy or sporting equipment such as bats, racquets, jump ropes etc.

Examples are:
1. Bouncing.
2. Catching.
3. Dribbling.
4. Kicking.
5. Rolling a ball.
6. Throwing.
7. Volleying a ball back and forth to another person using the hands or racquet.
8. Using the hand to draw, paint, trace, stack coins, play checkers etc.
