Paul in Athens (Acts 17: 16-34):
When Paul and his men left Philippi they went to Thessalonica. They were received warmly by most of the people there but when the Jews in Thessalonica realised Paul was preaching the word of God at Berea, some of them went to Berea to stir up the crowd against Paul. The believers immediately sent Paul to Athens and after Silas and Timothy had stayed in Berea for a few days they received word that they were to join Paul in Athens.
