- The Growth of the Church – The Great Commission
Before the ascension of Jesus, he gave the Great Commission to the apostles and all Christians to evangelize the world (Matthew 28: 16-20). Jesus also listed the signs that will accompany those who obey the Great Commission (Mark 16: 17-18). The Great Commission shows that the mission of the church is to evangelise and spread Christianity to all parts of the world.
