Paul in Antioch in Pisidia (Acts 13: 14-52):
On the Sabbath day, Paul and Barnabas went into the synagogue and sat down. The leaders in the synagogue let Paul and Barnabas know that if they had a sermon for the people, they should preach. So Paul began to speak about the amazing things God had done – he reminded them about how God had brought their ancestors out of Egypt and the land of Canaan to their forefathers as an inheritance. God had also given them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet and when the people asked for a king, God had given them Saul and after Saul was David.
