- Features of Computer Viruses
Below are some features of computer viruses;
- They display characters that do not really make any sense.
- They display a bouncing ball on the screen moving from one edge to another, for example, ping-pong.
- Viruses have the ability to swap files and stop it from loading.
- They can overwrite or lock auto-exec.bat; in order words, the cursor can hang.
- Viruses sometimes make it impossible for some software to be loaded into memory.
- Viruses change the configuration of the system. It can change the current date to a future date. It also shows files in funny characters that are not letters.
