The Party did not spread beyond Lagos. The members were Yorubas. The Party made use of the highly organized market women to carry out their activities.
Achievements of NNDP:
1. Electoral Victory: The party won all the seats allocated to Lagos in the legislativeThe legislative branch of government is responsible for making laws within a country. Legislatures are made up of people called legislators who, in democracies, are elected by the country’s population More council in the elections of 1923 , 1928 and 1933 . It also won the elections into the Lagos town council during the same period.
